Ms. Metro is an associate attorney at Newman & Allen, LLP. Ms. Metro obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in English with an emphasis in writing, rhetoric, and Political Science from Pepperdine University before graduating from Chapman University Fowler School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree. While attending law school, Ms. Metro was a member of the Immigration Law Students Association and the Black Law Students Association. Prior to graduating from law school, Ms. Metro served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Roger Bowman while also serving at the law school’s Tax Clinic. However, it was Ms. Metro’s extensive participation in the Aitken Family Protection Clinic which sparked her interest in domestic violence restraining orders, elder abuse restraining orders, family law, and juvenile justice.
