FAQ #2: What happens with a second DUI?

The second DUI has much more serious consequences than a first DUI. It requires a longer alcohol program, longer probation and the fines can be greater in some situations. One of the more serious consequences with a second DUI compared to the first, is that jail time typically increases. If you're convicted, the consequences of your second DUI are guaranteed to be greater than your first DUI. This is why if you have a second DUI, you need to call a lawyer.
